Embassy Commission

This representative South Kensington residence needed to welcome guests with confidence while meeting the practical, cultural and operational requirements of an embassy environment. Original detailing had to be protected throughout.

The response paired heritage-sensitive restoration with a more contemporary layer of furniture, lighting and textiles. Formal reception rooms were given a clear hierarchy, with durable finishes selected for frequent entertaining and diplomatic events.

Working closely with the client and specialist trades, the specification balanced protocol, comfort and identity. Every room was resolved as part of one coherent sequence from arrival hall through to private quarters.
